We applaud the effort all of these companies make to develop therapies for these devastating diseases, and we will work co-operatively with them and with health authorities to ensure that effective therapies are made available to affected patients, as soon as they are available.

Note that company names and ownership change from time to time. Previously listed Novazyme is now owned by Genzyme, and Oxford Glycosciences by Celltech. HemeBiotech changed its name in 2004 to Zymenex.
